The schedule of South Asian Games 2019 was previously announced. And now, with 10 days for the biggest carnival of the year, SAG 2019 to begin, the schedule of cricket in South Asian Games (SAG) 2019 has been officially announced.

According to the schedule, along with host Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have their Under 23 squad selected for South Asian Games 2019 cricket whereas other teams have selected their senior teams.

According to the South Asian Games Cricket Schedule 2019, 7 teams are divided into 2 groups.

Group A: Pakistan U23, Bangladesh U23, Maldives and Nepal
Group B: India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan

South Asian Games 2019 Cricket - Format

All the cricket matches in South Asian Games 2019 will be played in T20 format. The venue is set as Tribhuwan International Cricket Ground.

Top 2 teams from each group will enter the semi-finals. The winner of semi-finals will enter the finals from which the gold and silver medals will be deduced. The winner of the 3rd place will receive bronze medal.
