Overview

Just 6 minutes of play after the kick off, Liverpool managed to get a lead after a strong right footed goal came in from Fabinho. Although the first 5 minutes of the game was dominated by Manchester City, they never really looked like they were back into the game after the first goal by Liverpool. The second goal for Liverpool came in from Mohamed Salah, and this time it was not his foot to score but his head did the job. Robertson delivered a through ball to Salah and Salah scored a header. The keeper had no time to react as he found the ball inside the post in no time. The first half ended in a 2-0 lead for Liverpool.
